Saturday we had a veeery lazy morning. =] I hadn't rested well enough for over 2 weeks, so I needed that time to be in bed with something warm beside me. When we finally left my place, it was raining a little bit. We took the streetcar to Chinatown and walked up Spadina looking for t-shirts. We ended up buying at the same place we had gone the week before =P After shopping, we took the TTC to North York, and since it took us forever to get there, we gave up going to Goodlife Fitness. While we were at Mx's place, his sister had the idea of going to watch a movie, so they invited me to come with them to Colossus. I suggested watching The Last Airbender since Beatrise wouldn't understand much of Inception, and that's what we settled for. Janis drove us there in his car, and it was a good idea to leave early because the constructions on the highways are driving this city crazy. We got to the cinema on time, and luckily Mx had enough points on his Scene card to buy us 2 free tickets =] I bought pop and popcorn, and we all watched the movie. They didn't like it, but I did - I hope Shyamalan gets enough money to make the next sequels. The movie ended almost after midnight, so once we were back at Mx's place, I ended up sleeping there (isn't that a big change?)

Sunday we had planned to go to Niagara Falls, since it rained the whole Saturday. We got up early in the morning, and after we were all ready, we left. Mx's family is really nice, and although they talk very little English, I managed to interact with them sometimes. In Niagara Falls Mx and I didn't do much of the touristy stuff, as opposed to his family. Instead, we just walked around the area, found some residential neighbourhoods, and stopped at a place to eat some pancakes (uiuiui, bad idea). When we got back together with Diana, Janis, and the kids, we went to No Frills to buy some stuff and have a picnic at Niagara Parks. It was a very fun afternoon, but I had a damn toothache that spoiled it a little bit. In the evening we drove back to Toronto, and after making a pit stop at Mx's place, we took the TTC to my place.

Monday I went to work, and on my lunch break I walked to the Goodlife Fitness on Steeles and VicPark. As I imagined, they lied to me about the pool there - it is not only smaller than the hole they have at Finch and Dufferin, but it is also smaller than any hole you can make: it's inexistent. I went back to work under the melting-hot sun, and I ended up getting off early. I took the TTC to Mx's place, and mister lazy boy was working out at his old gym when I got there. I had to wait for him, and once we got together, we gave up going to Goodlife Fitness for good. We went to Yummy Market and bought some delicious stuff to eat at a little park next to his house. We played on the swings and crashed some hazelnuts before going back to his place. From there, I drank a lychee lemonade as we walked out so that he could drop me off at Downview. Once I got home, I just went to bed.

Tuesday after work I went downtown to help Mx on his appointment with Kathy. We stayed at her office for more than 2h, but fortunately everything went fine and things will start working from now on. After that we went to Second Cup to buy some delicious chillers, then we walked around Kensington Market a little bit. We decided to go to Queen West to try to buy some clothes, but the stores were already closing by the time we got there. We then went to Sushi Xtra to eat dinner, and then we took the streetcar to my place. After stopping at the convenience store to buy some groceries, we went home and rested well.

Soooo, my friend, the news are...

Tuesday I went to Express after work to see some of the people I haven't seen in a while. I had a tough conversation with Zulema after the check-in because she's really vulnerable lately. After the meeting I met Mx around the Allen Gardens, and we decided to walk on Church St a little bit. We went up and down, then we stopped at Carlton St to take the streetcar. We managed to get to No Frills on time, so we bought some groceries to be able to cook dinner. We went home, cooked, ate, and went to bed. =]

Wednesday I wanted to watch a movie, so I went to Food Basics after work to buy a cheesecake, then I met Mx at Finch station and we went downtown to King station. We got free vouchers for the Rainbow Cinema, so we traded them for tickets to see Despicable Me. Good movie, but not really that funny. We went back home via streetcar later, and after some delicious pieces of cheesecake, we slept.

Thursday was the day to meet the other YAY mentors to talk about the camping trip. I managed to get there on time, so I socialized with Darren and Nate. We played the "who am I?" game, and I was tagged with Michelle Obama's card. It didn't take me too long to figure it out, though =P After the meeting we all went to Absolut Comedy (for free, obviously), and I had a few hours of mental torture. Well, ok, some of the comedians were good, but most of the time I was wondering what the hell I was doing in the middle of that damn crowd. I was relieved when it was over, but holy cow, it was already 10pm. By the time I got home, it was almost midnight, so I rushed under the covers and started dreaming.

Friday came quickly, and as I had planned, I met Mx after work and we went to Yorkdale Mall. We shopped around for swimming suits, and we ended up buying semi-speedos at The Bay/Bikini Village. We were eager to try them out, so we went to Goodlife Fitness, got a 3-day free pass, and used their pool and sauna. The pool was microscopic, so I wasn't really happy with the idea of getting a real membership with them. I decided to double check the one close to my workplace before I made any decision, so I took note of going there next week. Mx and I quickly stopped at his place to get some stuff, and then we went to my place to eat some cheesecake and more =]

And that finishes the post. It's finally getting back to normal now, and my life-log won't look too messy from now on (at least for a while =P)

So on Wednesday I woke up and went to work, which went as usual. After that I met Mx at Finch station and we walked around the area to go to the library at North York Centre. I gathered some documents and filled some forms to send to my new potential landlord, and with my fingers crossed, I finished the application. Once that was out of the way, we went home, cooked dinner, and then went to bed. =]

Thursday I worked, then went to meet Joe (new potential landlord) in person again. We ended up actually signing all the paperwork and getting everything set for my moving in at the end of the month. I'm so glad I got that place! I rushed to Finch station after that to see Mx and celebrate with him. We walked on Finch Ave eating cereal bars and drinking gatorade all the way to Bathurst. From there we took the bus to Dufferin, and while he went to gym, I went home to relax and get some rest.

Friday I worked only until 4pm once more, since I had to go to BPSI. My boss offered me a ride to Yonge and Steeles, and from there I took the 60 bus. Mx joined me on the way, and we set off to the clinic. We stayed there the whole Saturday, and when we came out on Sunday morning, we had our paycheques with us =] We deposited them in our banks right away, and then went to Cora to have a normal breakfast. I took him home afterwards, and on my way to Downsview station I chatted a little bit with Sabine, who took the bus with me. Once I got home, I cleaned the place, did some laundry, and washed the dishes while Mx finished his usual individual stuff. When I met him again, we bought a new metropass for him, then we went to High Park to enjoy the rest of the afternoon. We found a baby squirrel and tried to feed him, but he was too stupid >.> We decided to walk on Roncesvalles on our way back, and we even went to the waterfront in Parkdale before going back home. The evening was spent with an interesting movie, and then good old bedtime.

Monday I started my work routine again, and I planned to go to Goodlife Fitness with Mx to sort everything out for our memberships, but that didn't work =[ So, I just went home to play some games and eat some cookies before going to bed.

SeeYa,
Feliploko, who craves you.

Thursday I went to work, ate my Italian salad for lunch, then went home (lol). Friday once again I worked, and this time I took the rest of the cheesecake I had to eat as dessert. I got permission from my boss to leave early (around 4pm), so I took the TTC at that time to meet Mx at Steeles and Dufferin. From there we got on the bus to go all the way to Weston Rd again, and we almost didn't make it in time to BPSI. We spent most of the weekend inside the clinic, getting out on Sunday morning. We started the day going to Superstore to buy some fruits and vegetables, then we stopped at Highland Farms to buy some other stuff. Mx's family wasn't at home, so we went there to have breakfast and chill out. After taking a shower we went downtown, where we bought some t-shirts on Chinatown, and then we went home. We cooked some delicious lunch, and while we were digesting it Zulema called me to ask about going to meditation. I decided to go with her, and it felt really good to go back after so long. My little Mx stayed at home, doing my laundry for me =] When I came back, everything was perfect. I thanked Mx the best I could, then we went to sleep.

Monday I went back to work, and the day wasn't very busy once again. I didn't have much to do at home when I went back, so I played some games on my computer until I wanted to sleep. Tuesday after work I gave up Express to meet Mx and go chill out for a bit, but our moods weren't very compatible that day. I was worried about money and could not be as light-headed as he wanted me to be. We went downtown, where I deposited a cheque at RBC and bought some stuff at No Frills, but when we went home the drama just went on and on. I decided to take a shower to try to change my mood, but when I finished I noticed that he wasn't in the apartment anymore. I took the ring out of my finger and went to bed. Later in the night he sent me a text, and after we talked a bit, everything was ok and there were no hard feelings. Thank God.

Almost done, almost done.

Tuesday I stayed at home chilling out with Mx for some time.In the afternoon he went home while I met my mom and sis at King and Spadina to go shopping again. They bought lots of souvenirs, some clothes, and lots of eletronics to take home. We had a little problem with my sister's visa, which made us wonder if the rest of their trip would be compromised, but fortunately it wasn't. At the end of the day I just took them back home and took the TTC back to my place. I was on the streetcar on King St when the driver suddenly crashes his vehicle into a black truck that came out of nowhere on an intersection. Nobody got hurt, but everyone was in shock. In some state of numbness, I got off the streetcar, walked to Queen St, and took that route home.

Wednesday I woke up really early to make it to my appointment at BPSI. I met Mx at Finch and Dufferin, then we walked to Steeles to take the bus to Weston Rd. We had our screening appointment, and I almost got sent home for not having 60kg (I was 700g under that). They let me register anyway as I promised to gain weight =P After that Mx went to the gym while I went to have lunch with Minoo. We chose this nice sushi place next to York U, and the food was good, although the service was terrible. Minoo gave me a cute card with the t-shirt she designed for me long ago as a graduation gift =] We chatted for a bit, and she decided to give me a hand with my little financial problem. We went to Seneca, and after saying goodbye to her, I rushed to the RBC on Steeles and Dufferin to deposit the amount I needed to have before the end of the day. Mx called right after that, and I met him coming out of the gym. We took the TTC to my mom's place, where we helped her and my sis set up the pcs they had gotten in the afternoon. Then we left to go to No Frills before it closed, and we bought groceries to cook and eat.

Thursday I had a long morning at home again, and then I went to my mom's when Mx went home. I spent some time there until we all decided to go to the CN Tower. We didn't think that it would be crowded during Canada Day though, and once I heard the waiting could take 2h I had to give up the idea. My sis got pissed off and turned into a bad mood, so she didn't enjoy the walk I had with my mom towards the City Hall. After taking some pictures I sent them home and went to the village to chat with Rauf. Pride week was starting to get interesting, so we stayed at the 519 stage for a while hanging out with Richard and Lilian. Mx then called me saying he was coming downtown, so I met him at St George station, where we started a promenade to Christie Pits Park. Once there, we got tired and decided to take the subway home.

Friday was another game day. We got up and put our Brazilian shirts on to go watch the game at Jane's bus. The Netherlands eliminated us, however, so we changed our shirts and decided to go shopping with my mom and sis. We took the Dufferin bus to Orfus Rd, and we bought thousands of perfumes there (including one for me =]). Mx went home, and I continued the shopping journey with my mom and sis back downtown, in Chinatown. I took them to Bhuda's because we were hungry, and once more they didn't like my food =/ After lunch, they bought more stuff and I went to Jane's place to get my things back when they went home. I went to my place to do some laundry, and then I met Mx again to chill out in the evening. We once again went to Jane's to see my mom and sis, but since they were busy cooking coxinhas, we went to Metro and bought some danishes to eat. After that, we had nothing left to do, so we went home.

Saturday I planned to go to the island with my mom and sis, but Mx realized he didn't have good clothes to wear on Sunday (and he wanted to look good for the parade, lol). We spent some hours shopping around Queen West and the Eaton Centre until we finally bought some clothes at H&M. Then we went to harbourfront to go to the island, but my mom and sis were already coming back. We then decided to spend the rest of the evening at Church St, so that's what we did. We found this nice bar with good music and beautiful people, so we stayed outside of its patio, together with other cool people. When we realized we didn't have our camera with us, we decided to go get it from my mom before we went home. We did so, and then we finally crashed at my place =]

Sunday was the big day of the pride parade =] We got ready at home and took the subway to College station. We had a hard time finding a good spot, so we ended up moving a lot during the parade. We reached Bloor and Church precisely when the parade ended, so we went down to the village at that point. We met Zulema, Lilian, and David, and we took some pictures with them. Mx's family was supposed to be there too, but for some reason they went all the way to Church and King to eat something. We went there to see them, and I was finally introduced to everyone. Sabine decided to join us when we went back to the village, and so we spent the rest of the day enjoying pride. In the evening Mx went home to drop Sabine while I went home to get a suitcase for my sis. I met Mx again on my way back, and we went home to rest a bit.

Monday was my first day at work =] I got ready and Mx went with me to King station to meet my sister there. He went to help her buy some last stuff before she went back, and I went to work. We didn't have much to do at the office, so we basically only opened the boxes with our monitors (the rest of the computers had not arrived yet) and bonded with one another. At lunch time we realized there was nothing nearby to go to, so we carpooled to a little mall at Woodbine and Steeles. I got some take-out at a Chinese place and got back with Kelvin's ride. We ended up having an early day since we had nothing to do, so I went to Mx's place before going downtown. I changed and started using my new phone (Nokia finally =D), as I took the subway home. A little delay made us change our plans for the night, so by the time I got to my mom's place, we had to take a taxi to the airport. The taxi driver was a moron (as usual), so my reluctance to taking cabs has increased once more. My mom's flight was very delayed, so we were in the airport much longer than we planned to. When they finally took off, we took the TTC back home and went to bed.

Tuesday was another day of work, and waking up with my boyfriend beside me made me feel extremely happy. I left a little early, and ended up finding a route that takes me to work much faster. Once I got to the office, we had some lessons until our computers arrived, which made us interrupt everything and go set them up. We spent the rest of the day installing softwares, and after 5pm I left straight to Express. We had a cool meeting, and after that we decided to go to Adam & Eve to spend our last moments with Lilian. It's going to be so weird without her here =[ But I'm sure she's not going away from my life completely, as what she built here was too strong to fade away so easily. I kissed her goodbye at Church and Carlton, and took the TTC back home.

Wednesday I was again in a very good mood, so I cooked my lunch and breakfast singing Oh Happy Days. I went to work as if I was in the prologue of a happy movie, and I had another easy day at the office. After my shift I met Mx in the neighbourhood to check some apartments, but we weren't very lucky. We ended up getting a magazine and calling lots of places, but only one of them was at least 33% interesting. I booked a viewing for that place, and then we went to Food Basics to try to buy our good mood back (which is called Cheesecake). We bought some other stuff to make an Italian salad at home, and that's how our day ended.

SeeYa,
Feliploko, man arī.
