So just to migrate back smoothly to my general routine for this year, I waited one extra day. Actually, that's a lie, but I wanna pretend it's true so it conveniently fits the circumstances. Wednesday I went to work, ate a sub for lunch, and came back home a bit early. After sorting out some things with Mareks (which took a while), we finally left for Fairview Mall to buy some clothes. We spent a lot of money, but at least we got a nice set for each of us to wear on Saturday. I wanted to go to gym, but I had to come home to pass some information for Diana... Mareks and I tried our new clothes on, and then we went to sleep.
Thursday was a terrible day -.- Somehow this bad magnetic field influence transformed everything in tragedy. I didn't have bread in the morning because I didn't go downtown on Tuesday, and I didn't have margarine because I didn't buy it last time I went to Food Basics. I ate some croissants I had baked the day before, and still managed to be late for work. I was hoping I would go down to Toronto Hydro with my team to help Gary (!) with some one-day testing, but my manager completely removed me from this visit without telling me why. I tried to work on the research, but my tool for importing and exporting QC data wasn't working (licensing issues). Then I wanted to generate some documents and my Office was not letting me. I remembered I had to fax something to PMRI, so I tried to get the document I needed from Manulife, but once I tried to pay the fees, my credit card was refused. Finally I went home for lunch time and Mareks was here to cook for me, but I had no sauce for my pasta. I went to Food Basics to buy it, and the line for the cashier was enormous (plus the people in front of me were being extra slow). I ran to try to catch the bus that would come soon, but not only the bus was early, it also ran a red light that would allow me to cross the street. I walked home, got here 45min into my lunch hour, and at least had a delicious penne with vegetable pesto sauce. Back to work already late, I missed another bus. I came back home to wait another 10min, and in the meantime I solved something for Diana with her hydro bill. Then I went back to work and kept getting stuck with every single task I tried to get done. I was back home at around 5pm, and I could only enjoy Marekoso's presence for about one hour, then he had to leave for PMRI. I fell asleep on the couch while thinking about my life, and 2h later I simply went to bed without doing anything that I wanted to do that day. Sucks, eh?
Friday was a bit better. I still didn't have bread, so I went to a coffee place nearby to have breakfast. I ate a veggie omelette and drank decaf coffee, then left to go to work. I was briefed in on Thursday's venture to Toronto Hydro, and apparently I didn't miss much (only Gary). My bosses were happy that day because many new clients were coming in at different stages of negotiating contracts. Most of my team for the research was taken away, so I'll have to work with whoever is left. Seven of us decided to go to Maison du Japon for sushi during lunch, so I got a ride there on Harvey's car. I couldn't eat as much as I did last time, but it was still worth it. We went back to the office about 2.5h after having left, and we didn't have much work to do till the end of the day. Brian left without buying a software license I needed to keep working, so I just spent the rest of the day playing picture trivia online. Once home I surfed the net a bit, then went to Fairview Mall again to buy two pieces of clothes that I didn't buy on Wednesday with Mareks. On my way back I stopped at Hong Tai to buy bread and fruits, and again I skipped gym for whatever reason. Tomorrow is a really big day for Zulema, so I'm looking forward for that. And that ends my post.
SeeYa,
Feliploko, who's starring on the research.
