Cheat

Saturday we spent the day with the girls, like last Sunday. They came at 1pm, when Mareks was still rehearsing at the church, so I played cards with them (cheat! =]). We left around 3pm, and Mareks met us at the pool already. Beatrise quickly made friends with a Chinese girl and borrowed her goggles, lol. We stayed until 5pm, and then we went to Food Basics to buy stuff to cook. When we got home, we made veggie hamburgers and then watched some eurovision entries while voting for the best countries - guess what? Azerbaijan won =P Diana came to pick the girls up, and we chatted a little bit before they went home. Then Mareks and I were left to rest.

Sunday was laundry day and we didn't do much else. We went to Fairview Mall to buy shoes, and we ended up buying some t-shirts as well. We ate at Spring Rolls again, and then came back to finish laundry and go to bed.

Today (Monday) was a huge day for me. I was invited to this meeting with my company's new client to talk about the project I'm currently leading. I dressed up a little, choosing a business casual outfit very close to casual, but still quite business formal. Richard picked me at the office and gave me a ride. I felt a little uncomfortable in the office, and also when I got to the client, since everybody else was poorly dressed (and didn't care about it). Alex gave me a lesson about the old city of North York while we were in the waiting room, and then we were taken to the board room. I was in a place full of people twice my age and with much more experience in my field. In the few times I got to talk, I felt like a baby =/ We left the client around 2pm, and Brian gave me a ride back to the office. We were going to stop at Ginza for lunch, but it was closed, so we just went to Subway (I was starving x.x). I then sit together with my team to pass on the information I got from the meeting, and then started putting some stuff together on the wiki. When I got home, I ate and took a nap because I was exhausted. Now I hope I can sleep again at night to get ready for tomorrow.
