Gaaaah, I'm exhausted. =[ I never thought I was capable of doing so much in such a short time... Let's see what I can blog about.
Thursday I didn't go to INT3, but I had to go for the INT4 midterm. It was incredibly short and easy, so I managed to finish it and get the TTC to St Stephen's Centre for an interview. I applied to work at Ontario Place in the summer, just in case I don't get any IT-related job... It took me forever to fill out an application form there, and I had to wait for many other people to be interviewed before me. Ironically, the interview took about five minutes: they asked me the same customer-service question that was on the form, and since I had a good answer, they scheduled me for a second interview. They told me the next question already, but I'm not sure if I want to come up with something creative for that one. After that I came back home and went to bed.
Friday I went to write the JAC midterm, then I had a very boring EAC class, and finally a job interview for a new position at Seneca. Dead boring filing work, but I need the money for my metropasses. I believe they will call me back, but if they don't I won't get too upset. I worked a little bit on my OOP project after that, and then went to Finch and Dufferin to eat something at Druxy's. From there I came downtown and around 8:30pm I left for Lindsay's birthday party. I never thought Zulema was being so serious when she complains about her neighbourhood, but I found out that night that Queen and Sherbourne is totally sinister. I felt very uncomfortable walking around trying to find their place. I was one of the first guests to come, so I helped with the finishing touches and people started coming little by little. We had fun talking, eating, and even dancing; we were so into it that we decided to prolong the party until the subway started running (6am) - good old days in Belo Horizonte, eh? I took the streetcar with some of the queers, and crashed on my bed once I got here.
Saturday I could not do what I wanted to, so I stayed home doing nothing the whole day. I hope it wasn't such a loss, though; we'll see...
Sunday I watched a movie on my dvd, and didn't go for a walk as I was planning. Around 6pm I went to meditate, and this time Rauf came with me. We had good food, and Rauf got frustrated at someone's heterosexuality. We walked our way back, and I went out to see a friend and cash some money to pay the rest of March's rent. Then finally bedtime.
Today (Monday) I woke up really early, took a shower and went to have breakfast at a place on Bloor and Spadina. I thought it would be really good, but it was more expensive than it should. I then left to see Nisrine at the 519 and talk about some settlement stuff; she gave me some useful advice and sent me an email later. After that I went to Culture Link and talked to Rebecca (the new Carolina) about the same things. Again, a resourceful email was sent after that. I had some time in the afternoon, so I cut my hair and came back home to rest a little bit. Around 3pm I left again to see Jean at the Griffin Centre to finalize the settlement process of the day. On my way back I got some groceries, and now I'm home waiting for Zulema to call... That's it.
SeeYa,
Feliploko, who's changing his plans.
