Time has been wiped out of my life again >.< Last week was supposedly my study break, but my professors kept giving us stuff to do...

Tuesday I managed to get some rest, so I stayed home until it was time to go to SOY. I facilitated a workshop for Alphabet Soup that day, representing METRAC. =] It went well, and I'm starting to feel more comfortable with it. At Express, we had our weekly meeting, and then we went for a coffee. Our coffee meetings have been crowded again, new people are finally starting to stay in the group and join the after-fun.

Wednesday I worked on some of the projects that I needed to work on, and realized INT3's assignment was bigger than I thought. I don't remember if there was anything else worth mentioning.

Thursday I went all the way to Markham to interview one of the managers of IBM for my EAC project. Some not-so-smart people messed my plans making me have a hard time finding the place, so I got there really late. We had to change the interview time to 4pm, so Robin and I had to wait around there for about an hour. We then finally talked with Angus about Eclipse and how it's used at IBM, and he was really nice with us. He gave us a tour through the company afterward and even drove us to the subway station =] Once I got home I went back to working on my projects.

Friday I had a full day of workshops with Keli. We went to this high school at Eglinton and Bathurst and we had to talk about dating violence to 4 different classes. Most of them were ok, but the grade 12 boys intimidated me so much I almost didn't participate in the workshop. We finished the day around 4pm, and when I got home I had to participate in a meeting for the OOP project and be interviewed over the phone for one of the companies to which I applied for an internship. Hopefully I will hear something back from them soon. Nothing else for the rest of the day.

Saturday I had to work for co-ed at Seneca, and it wasn't too hard to do the surveys. The lead guide (who wasn't really a good lead) had some disagreements with me, but I think it didn't escalate too much into a problem. I went to Finch station after work and bought some fruits at a little Korean market before wandering through the little streets around there; the weather was quite nice. I came back home around 2pm because Keli texted me saying the workshop we had at the west end would be probably canceled. I then called Linda to invite Anthony out, and we decided to go skating again. I picked him up and we went to Harbourfront, but the rink was 75% closed =[ We walked up to City Hall, and there they weren't renting skates anymore. That's when we decided to go watch a movie instead, so we went to AMC. We watched Percy Jackson, which was horrible - well, at least Anthony liked it and I liked the protagonist. I took my kid to his place after that and thought about going to Natalia's party, but I was too tired for that. I came home and crashed.

Sunday we went skiing \o/ I woke up really early to get there on time since there was no subway, and I ended up being really early. I helped Clare get the coffee from Starbucks, and we left SOY at almost 9am - Rauf was late, of course. We had many more people from Express this year, but most of them were beginners like I was last year. I didn't see them much because I wanted to explore the other cliffs with Rauf. We went to these really hard routes that made us fall and get our asses filled with snow. Once I was going down and my skis came out when I fell. I wasn't able to put them back on, so I had to walk all the way down to fix them =[ It was fun overall, and we came back stinking and exhausted. I took a shower and got myself ready to watch the Oscars at the Pour House. Brent and Natalia were coming with me, but they both canceled. I watched it by myself eating a pizza and drinking ginger ale =P I simply loved the speech of the woman who won best costume design. "This is for all the designers for films with boring costumes and low budget, but tonight I am taking it home". And that's it =]

SeeYa,
Feliploko, who has no time to menstruate.
