Don't send a monkey to do a bird's job

This will probably get back to the 3-day post routine, so let's get going with it. Wednesday was a pretty normal day, with all the same old stuff at the office. I had to go to PMRI after work, and I almost didn't make it. Fortunately I could do my repeat and get my cheque, and then I met Mareks at Hong Tai for some groceries. We realized that artificial crab meat and artificial caviar are still made of fish (lol), and after getting a bunch of vegetables we came back home. I watched some Rurouni Kenshin, and then went to bed.

Thursday was a nice day. The weather was good, so I started biking again. As usual I had a busy morning at work, and Richard almost made me late for my lunch meeting with David. I biked all the way to 636 Finch East to eat some sushi at Ginza with him. We had nice conversations, and I'm looking forward to seeing him again on Sunday. I went back to work a little late, but at this point I don't really give much more than one piece of shit. I kept working my ass out (not literally, unfortunately), and I was planning to watch movies with Mareks and the girls after work. I left late, however, and everybody agreed it would be better to reschedule the movie night. I came back home through a new biking route (suggested by google) and I think I'll use that one from now on. Mareks and I still went out that night, but we just got as far as Scarborough Centre, where we walked around and he had some sushi while I had a cheesecake and a latte at Second Cup. We then came back home, and that was the end of the day.

Today was a total mess, but with a few nice moments here and there. Once again Richard tired me out at work, and he ruined my plans of going out to eat with my co-workers. I decided to bike to Subway, then, but it was raining heavily (damn weather forecast that predicted light drizzles). So I go to get my sandwich and as soon as I pay and prepare to leave, guess who offers me a ride back? Mr. Richard. I had to refuse for obvious reasons, so I rode my bike back in the rain, almost getting hit by a teenage girl who couldn't see me because of another one blocking her view. I got back at work safe, but soaking wet. I undressed 66% of my attire, and spent the rest of the day on my socks. Oddly enough, very few people noticed (or I should say very few people pointed it out). On my way back home, it was raining once again, so that didn't help much on me getting happier. I got here, took a shower, and was eating some dinner when Mareks started rushing me to go to Fairview Mall meet the girls. We left, got to the cinema just in time, and had a good time watching Rio. After the movie, Mareks decided to play the game in which you have to pick a teddy bear with a claw... We didn't know he had 3 tries, so after he missed the first two, one random south asian kid (probably 5 years old) came from nowhere and used Mareks' credit to play (and win!) The awkwardness made me laugh uncontrollably, but that really annoyed Mareks. He gradually became silent on the way here, and then he expressed his disappointment at my reaction. I really didn't mean to make fun of him, but it didn't come across like that. We'll sort that through soon and everything will be back to normal. For now, that's it.

SeeYa,
Feliploko's, who knows not to insert it in children.
